The purpose of this exhibition “Where are you from? I am from Spain. Spanish artists living in London”, is to show our recognition and support of artists who understand that their expression, education and relationship with art is such, that they locate themselves in places they consider to be the most dynamic, active and representative in international contemporary art. In this case, all the artists, collaborating in this mixed-media exhibition, are Spanish artists whose last work was in London.

Some of them have done MAs (Master of Art). Others are preparing their philosophy degree (Jorge Rivera). They have been granted scholarships by the most prestigious British Schools of Art, like The Royal College of Art, London, Winchester School of Art (Natuka Honrubia), The Royal Academy, London (Guillermo Caivano) Wimbledon School of Art, London (Javier Arce) and The London College of Printing (Carmen Alemán). The others are working independently on creative projects (Xavi Roca and Jesús de Miguel).
